In a glitzy Las Vegas ceremony, VCARB, formerly known as AlphaTauri, showcased their 2024 F1 car, marking a new era for the team.
Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda revealed the new car’s livery at a launch event. Unlike previous 2024 launches, the team opted for a painted design, moving away from the trend of exposed carbon due to weight concerns.
VCARB-01 adopts the innovative front pull-rod and rear push-rod suspension design from Red Bull, setting a trend among teams unveiling their new models.
Red Bull Technologies also supplied the power steering, brake system, gearbox, and exhaust, with the team constructing the monocoque and brake ducts in accordance with rules.
The car piloted by Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda will be powered by the Red Bull Powertrains-Honda unit again.
