Lewis Hamilton has faced a challenging couple of years at Mercedes but maintains unwavering determination.
Hamilton has sent a clear message to his Formula 1 competitors, expressing his resolve to dominate every other team on his path to victory.
Currently embarking on his final F1 season with Mercedes before transitioning to Ferrari next year, the seven-time world champion has seen remarkable success with the Brackley-based team, clinching six titles between 2014 and 2020.
However, Mercedes has faced setbacks in performance following the implementation of new technical regulations in 2022, with Hamilton’s last race triumph dating back over two years. Despite this, Hamilton remains resolute and unfazed by his recent downturn in results.
“I’ve manifested everything I’ve ever wanted to do,” Hamilton affirmed. “I do it every year. Working with Tommy. Winning a world championship. Breaking records. And so I’ve had some other plans for the future.”
When questioned about his move to Ferrari, Hamilton responded, “Yeah. I think perhaps more unconscious manifesting from the early period of my life. But it’s always been up there for me. For now, though, I’m gonna lift Mercedes as high as I can this year.”
Hamilton is determined to conclude his time with Mercedes on a positive note and significantly impact the competition before his move to Ferrari.
“The way that I exist, I don’t look at it as on the way out,” he emphasized.
“My commitment to the team is exactly the same as previous years: I want to kill every other team.
“We want to beat them. My approach remains the same, right till the end.
“And can’t let too much of my mind be distracted by what’s afterward. You can’t really tap into that until next year.”
