Ferrari’s Classic Makeover with Return of White

Ferrari has announced an update to their race suits, reintroducing white into their team colors and eliminating black.

This change revives a classic look that was part of the Ferrari aesthetic during the eras of celebrated drivers like Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso.

The team had previously moved away from black after the 1999 Formula 1 season, a period followed by five consecutive championship victories with Schumacher at the helm.

In preparation for the upcoming season and a potential title challenge against Red Bull, drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will showcase the new kit during pre-season testing in the coming two weeks.

This season is particularly significant as it marks the final year for Sainz with Ferrari, ahead of his departure post the season’s end in Abu Dhabi.

Leclerc, on the other hand, has secured his future with Ferrari through a long-term contract extending to at least 2026, with Lewis Hamilton set to join the team in 2025.

The anticipation around the new race suits is high, as indicated by a social media post that garnered over 11,000 likes, featuring Leclerc and Sainz previewing their new gear.

However, the exact design and look of the suits remain under wraps for now.
