Sergio Perez: The ‘Perfection’ at Red Bull makes the team unique.

Sergio Perez has elaborated on the work culture at Red Bull that sets them apart from any other team. The Mexican driver started his Formula One career racing for Sauber in the 2011 season but then went on to drive for various Formula One groups.

The 32-year-old, after racing for Sauber, drove for the likes of McLaren, Force India, and Racing Point respectively. Red Bull recruited his services before the 2020 campaign and the Mexican driver has proven himself to be a worthy teammate to Dutch driver Max Verstappen over time.

His phenomenal defending abilities came crucial in helping his teammate clinch his maiden Formula One drivers’ championship. With previous teammates of Max Verstappen failing to meet the requirements of Red Bull, Perez’s second stint at Red Bull and a further contract extension spanning until 2024 show the sheer dexterity of the driver.

Having raced for several teams, the Red Bull driver has been impressed with the work culture at Red Bull, in an interview with RacingNews365 he explained: “When we win a race, there are still so many things we can do better. We are always pushing and always looking to the limit and Red Bull is unique in that.”

“Red Bull is different from every other team. Of course, every team is different and has good and bad things, but I am certainly happy to be part of this Red Bull.”

Perez is currently third on the drivers’ championship standings having bagged 173 points in the first half of the current campaign. The Mexican driver will be looking to up his game as the season resumes.
