Ferrari’s Formula 1 team is undergoing a significant transformation, marked by not only a change in livery but also the adoption of a fresh official team name: ‘Scuderia Ferrari HP’, effective from the upcoming Miami Grand Prix.
This announcement follows a recent agreement penned with computer giant HP, catapulting Ferrari into a new era of partnership comparable to Red Bull’s high-profile deal with Oracle.
The comprehensive sponsorship deal encompasses various facets of Ferrari’s racing endeavors, extending beyond the Formula 1 team to include the E-Sports squad and the prestigious Ferrari Driver Academy.
Notably, this sponsorship encompasses support for the F1 Academy entry of promising talent Maya Weug. The unveiling of the team’s new livery is eagerly anticipated in Miami, coinciding with the debut of a unique blue design commemorating 70 years of Ferrari’s presence in the North American market.
Prior to the introduction of the HP title sponsorship, Ferrari was simply identified as ‘Scuderia Ferrari’ on the FIA’s official 2024 entry list. Benedetto Vigna, Ferrari’s CEO, underscored the legacy of progression inherited from the brand’s founder, stating, “Our founder passed on to us his continuous will to progress.”

Since 2021, Ferrari has operated without a title sponsorship agreement after previously being backed by Phillip Morris International brands Marlboro and Misson Winnow. However, the void is set to be filled by US giant HP.
HP CEO Enrique Lores emphasized the symbiotic nature of the partnership, stating, “With technology, performance and exceptional craftsmanship fueling the future, the partnership between HP and Ferrari is a natural fit.”
