Biography
Esteban Ocon, born in Évreux, Normandy, France, began his Formula One career with Manor Racing in 2016. His journey in motorsports is a tale of sacrifice and dedication, with his family playing a pivotal role in supporting his early career. Ocon won the European F3 title in 2014, beating Max Verstappen, and the GP3 title in 2015, showcasing his exceptional talent.
He moved to Force India in 2017, where he displayed impressive wheel-to-wheel skills. However, financial issues at Force India in 2018 led to a period of uncertainty for Ocon, who eventually became a reserve driver for Mercedes in 2019. His persistence paid off when he returned to the grid with Renault (now Alpine) in 2020, achieving his first F1 win with the team in 2021.
Ocon is known for his resilience and determination, qualities that have seen him overcome various challenges and establish himself as a notable figure in Formula 1. He continues to compete at a high level, representing Alpine alongside fellow Frenchman Pierre Gasly.
