Biography
Lance Stroll, born on 29 October 1998 in Montreal, Canada, began his motorsport career in karting at the age of 10. He achieved numerous race and championship wins in his native Canada and North America. In 2010, Stroll became a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy.
He made his car racing debut in the 2014 Italian F4 Championship with Prema Powerteam, winning the series. Stroll then moved to FIA Formula 3, winning the series in 2016 with Prema. He made his Formula 1 debut with Williams in 2017, becoming the youngest driver at that time to finish on an F1 podium during his rookie season.
Stroll moved to Racing Point in 2019, achieving a best finish of P4 at the German Grand Prix. In 2020, racing for Racing Point, he secured his first pole position at the Turkish Grand Prix. As of 2023, Stroll is racing for Aston Martin, entering his seventh season in Formula 1.
