Ken Block – F1 drivers pay tribute to fallen rally ‘icon’
Former American professional rally driver with the Hoonigan Racing Division, and the co-founder of DC Shoes passed on last Monday.
According to the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, Ken Block was riding a snowmobile at around 2 PM on a steep slope when the vehicle suddenly upended and landed on top of him.
“Mr. Block was riding with a group but was alone when the accident occurred…..we are saddened to hear of the loss of Kenneth and our hearts are with his family and friends so deeply affected,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Formula 1 drivers and personalities have since paid tribute to Block.
